Following Iranian strikes on Israel, Cyprus has been asked to relay messages to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, according to Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides. Frustrated with the EU's response to the escalating Middle East crisis, Cyprus has requested an emergency meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council and offered assistance with evacuating third-party nationals.
