Sajeeb Wazed Joy, son of ex-PM Sheikh Hasina, secured US citizenship. He took the oath in Washington, DC, and obtained his citizenship certificate. Following this, he applied for a US passport. An Awami League leader stated Joy's previous passport was revoked. He needed a passport to travel and visit his mother.
